Happy Halloween from Parkway 25 Luxury Apartments in St. Louis Park!

Halloween 2020

This year may not be the free-for-all that it’s been in the past, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still “scare” up a little fun at home or in the P25 neighborhood.

If you’re looking to hit the town, there are a few events in SLP and surrounding areas that you can attend while observing mask and social distancing rules. On Thursday the 29th, flex your scariest knowledge skills at Serial Killer Trivia at Under Pressure Brewing (call ahead to reserve your spot). If technology is more your speed, REMVirtual Reality Lab has created a plethora of spooky VR content for 2-nights only ($100 for a Pod of 4 guests includes unlimited VR content, drink tickets, and of course, candy). For the kids, you can mask up and attend Goblins on Ice at the St. Louis Park Rec Center on October 30th, where indoor and outdoor ice skating (in costume) is encouraged!

Planning on staying in this Halloween? Good call. There are thousands of great seasonally-appropriate flix streaming online, but there are also some fun creative virtual events happening too. Explore the infamous haunted “Murder House” in LA online, with 15 cameras live streaming, special experts, and live paranormal readings over 3 days. You can always throw your own Zoom Halloween with your bffs, kids, family members and more — here are a few tips to making it memorable. Finally, make sure you’re indulging in your favorite seasonal treats and sips — whether it’s just for yourself or your whole family — the tasty details matter!

Pizza is the great unifier. Whether you’re getting together with friends, feeding the family, ordering lunch for the office, or throwing a party, (or, let’s be honest, vegging out on the couch alone), you can’t go wrong with a hot, fresh pizza pie. Luckily, St. Louis Park is home to a handful of tasty ‘za makers who can deliver to your front door. Here are a few of our top favorites:

Parkway Pizza

Aside from being name twins with us, Parkway Pizza slings some of the tastiest ‘za in the region. The self-proclaimed “Best Pizza Ever” lives up to the hype with “Minneapolis-Style” thin crust pizza cut into cheesy, perfect squares. Get in on salads, pasta, and epic hoagies as well as a great wine and tap beer selection. Hit up their cute dining room or order for delivery or pick up. Pro tip: Parkway makes their own handmade Italian sausage — try it on a pizza or a sandwich!

Luigi’s Best

Wether you like your pie New York or Neapolitan-style, Luigi’s has you covered. This authentic spot uses high quality imported and organic ingredients to make their signature pizzas, calzones, and salads — stop in for a bite, pick up, or have it delivered. Pro tip: Check their website for daily pizza and food specials!

Red’s Savoy

A true Minnesota original, Red’s Savoy makes the grade with crispy thin crust and a sweet n’ savory sauce that’s been a secret family recipe since 1965. Their ‘Sota Style pizza shares a menu with other equally tasty selections including wings, sammies, salads, and pasta. Pro tip: no order is complete without a side of pizza fries!
